Bead-Patterns the Magazine Issue 14 Nov/Dec 2007 Executive Editor: Deb Moffett-Hall
Welcome friends to issue #14
We are staying close to home for the holidays this year. Thanksgiving is at my sister's house – hmmm I'll need a hostess gift, she loves silver bracelets, Diana's cobblestone links would be perfect. The neighborhood progressive party begins at our house, note to self – make a dozen of Sandra's snowflakes in different colors for wine charms. Then there's the holiday party at the home of Scott's boss, another hostess gift, perhaps one of Carole's crystal ornaments for his wife? Danny has eight different teachers this year, Pamela's snowman earrings for everyone! One of my best friends is turning 50 in December, she would adore Toika's Triangle Elements bracelet and I'll need to make myself one of Linda's Flame Fringe bracelets to wear to the party..... Sound familiar? Lots of great projects in this issue to help you with your gifting and decorating needs. Hope you have a safe & wonderful holiday season.
Best Wishes & Full Bead Dishes, Deb Moffett-Hall - Editor
Dimensional Peyote creates undulating links in this uni-sex bracelet design. Super quick to stitch & customize the size too! Skip the tiny size 15 seeds for the men’s version.
17 /2" box-stitch herringbone is festooned with a graceful pearl garland. The medium size 10 Delicas help the herringbone go quickly and are easy on the eyes.
Lavish is the best term to describe the fringe on this 7 1/4" square-stitched cube bracelet. Sparkling silver-lined seed beads color blend from red/orange-orange- yellow and each loop is accented with a bicone crystal.
A peyote stitched branch embellished with needle clusters and accented by 2 fat peyote stitched pinecones. 2 1/2" long it is shown on a satin cord necklace.
