Issue 5 (May/Jun 2006)
Executive Editor: Deb Moffett-Hall
Welcome friends, this issue is just bursting with delightful growing goodies from the garden. In my garden the daffodils, tulips, crocus, grape and regular hyacinths are putting in a strong appearance.  All the glorious colors of spring have inspired our designers.   Terri Ann Fox of Foxden Designs shares her Yummy Berries that look good enough to eat.  Sandra D. Halpenny teaches us how to create the 5 petal nasturtium blooms from her prize winning entry in the Flower Panel contest.   Susan Mandel has stitched up gorgeous 3-D Fuchsia blooms to dangle from a necklace or earrings. To watch over them all I have created a pair of Garden Fairies Crystal drops you can hang in the garden or a sunny window.
For those who prefer the great indoors there are several jewelry options as well.  A Fast and Fabulous  cube and fire polished bracelet from Linda Gettings, and an intricate looking circular R.A.W. necklace with embellishments from Dottie Hoeschen– tricky but well worth the effort. Suzanne Cooper has offered one of her adorable mini peyote purse designs, a royal blue Fleur d’ Lis, that’s quick and fun to stitch. Julie Ann Smith has created a darling brick stitch heart charm bracelet accented by wire wrapped crystals.  Diana Wilson was thinking of the men in her life and created a unisex bracelet suitable for both guys and gals depending on your bead choices.
Lots of fun projects – Enjoy!

Best Wishes & Full Bead Dishes,
