Welcome friends to issue #24
It's Hot Hot Hot! Hot summer jewelry and accessories with a tropical flair. First up is a salute to summer with a 4th of July peyote bracelet, proudly wave the red, white, & blue on your wrist. Linda Gettings has re-mixed round and square seashell heishi into shell shaped dangles - gorgeous! Sharon Boehme shares two coconut palm projects: a tea light cover to light your poolside party and a crocheted bracelet to match. Sandra D Halpenny has outdone herself with a stunning seed bead lei, a must have for any luau. Capture Rivolis in a net and wear them as a bracelet with this delightful design from Barb Nichols. Dottie Hoeschen translates a Russian Chevron Chain variation into a lariat or beaded belt. Ty Wolfe Designs offers a beautiful bargello feather style peyote design; make one for a pendant or two for an amulet bag. Enjoy your summer stitching!    Deb Moffett-Hall - Editor

Celestial Crystal Glass

Fire Mountain Gems & Beads sent a selection of their glass components. Wow! Such fire and flash - they were hard to photograph as the light just bounces and refracts like crazy. Pre-drilled with a top hole that can accommodate extra large bead stringing wire with room to spare or use ice-pick or donut bails. Lots of bang for the buck.
