Issue 22 (Mar/Apr 2009) Spring Issue

Welcome friends to issue #22
      It must be springtime, the weather is crazy here in Pennsylvania. First it's 60 degrees and sunny, then 30 degrees and snowing - all in the same day! During the freeze & thaw cycle I get to glimpse the new leaves bursting up from the soil, soon we'll have flowers like those in Sig's Spring Flowers peyote project.
      Linda Hampton treats us to an adorable pair of brick stitch earrings to wear during those April showers. Celebrate spring with a sky blue beaded egg from Laurie Silva. Get your sparkle on with a fire-polish beauty by Sandra Halpenny. Barb Nichols shares a delightful pearl & peyote cab bezel design.
      Polly wants a peyote Mini Parrot Pouch from Maddiethekat Designs. Michelle Hall used the new tiny Delicas to create a bracelet for her boss who only likes "Real gold Jewelry" - she loved it! Couldn't believe it was beads. Dottie Hoeschen's beaded bead is full of design possibilities while Linda Gettings' Fringe Frenzy bracelet is lush and inviting. Enjoy!    Deb Moffett-Hall - Editor

What's New
Beadalon Wild Fire

If you love to include crystals in your work and need a stringing material that is super strong, waterproof, has almost zero stretch, and will not fray at the ends then try;

WildFire from Beadalon:

Available in two colors: Black and Green (khaki). Packaged on handy 50 yard spools, the .15mm size has a 10lb breaking strength. It knots securely too!

These crimp beads are pretty enough to use as spacer beads in your work!
4 popular colors in one convenient pack: silver, gold, copper, and black, but the black is more of a hematite in my opinion.

The assortments are available in a variety of crimp sizes so be sure to check the beading wire package for the recommended crimp bead size for your project.
