Issue 7 (Sep/Oct 2006) Fabulous Fall Issue

Welcome to issue #7. The days are getting shorter and the nights are a bit chilly here in Pennsylvania. Our son is suffering through "Back to School" shopping trips and our daughter returned to college last week. This week I noticed that a few of my favorite beaded pieces seem to have made the journey to college too...oh well, it's nice when your beadwork is appreciated.
There are many projects in this issue that would make wonderful gifts, for you or a loved one. Linda Farber's Tut's Tomb Treasure Bracelet is fit for a king. Sandra D. Halpenny brings a fall flavor indoors with her Seeds & Leaves Necklace. Square stitch Linda Gettings' fast and fun Cube Cuff with Cha-Cha Fringe to match your new fall wardrobe. Gail Devoid of Need For Beads Inc. shares her Peyote Chip Bracelet, bet you can't make just one! Two peyote picture designs are featured: Beth Sleven has created a darling Dragon design to stitch in seed beads and I have included an adorable little pumpkin pin to get you in the Halloween mood. For something a little different try your hand at Judith Bertoglio-Giffin*apos;s Snazzy Bead Crochet Chain Necklace or wire wrap a button or two with Dottie Hoeschen. Enjoy stitching in the colors of the season.    Deb Moffett-Hall - Editor
