Dragonfly Pin or Pendant Dragonfly Pendant

Tubular peyote takes flight with the addition of sparkling wings. Gail suggests stitching with quality fishing line to give your dragonfly shape and support.

Clever openings are worked in the body as you stitch to accommodate the lacy beaded wire work wings

Two sizes:
  • Large: 3 ¾ inches long, 5 inch wingspan
  • Small: 3 inches long, 4 inch wingspan

Materials needed
  • 3 grams light & 3 grams dark color seed beads, size 15
    (8 Grams of strong color)
  • 1 Bicone crystal, 4mm
  • 1 Silver Bicone for head, 10mm
    (Round Facetted clear glass bead 12 mm)
  • 3 feet Dead-soft wire, 18 gauge
  • 15 feet Dead-soft wire, 26 gauge
  • Pin back or jump rings as desired
  • 4 lb test quality monofilament (clear) fishing line packaged on a reel not a spool
Tools needed:
  • Fine, strong beading needle
  • Wire cutters & Eye protection
  • File
  • Sharp Scissors
  • Needle Nose Pliers
  • Ruler
